Loram Wins 2017 Outstanding Achievement Award from the Minnesota Safety Council

Loram was honored for winning the Governor’s Safety Award for Outstanding Achievement on May 18, 2017 at the 83rd Annual Minnesota Safety & Health Conference. This honor is awarded by the Minnesota Safety Council. “We thank Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. for its commitment to safety,” said Paul Aasen, president of the Minnesota Safety Council. “These efforts protect workers, strengthen the organization and benefit the community as a whole.”

The Outstanding Achievement award is earned for continuing improvement and/or a continuing outstanding record for DART (Days away, Restricted, or Transferred) rate and Incidence Rate which is at least 51-90% better than the average for your industry classification. Loram’s employees in the office and in the field focus on practicing safety in every aspect of the job. By keeping employees safe and on the job, Loram is able to efficiently provide the best services possible.
