The compact design of the RGX allows it to navigate a wide variety of network requirements \u2013 steep grades, narrow curves, reduced kinematic, diagrams and light axle loads \u2013 while addressing a variety of grinding conditions. The RGX leverages state of the art technology and highly productive, 23 kW grind motors for efficient metal removal, reduced grind time, and optimized maintenance cost.<\/p>\n<p>RGX includes Loram\u2019s patented Rail Pro\u00ae grind management software systems. RGX is a configurable platform with (10) different consist configurations ranging from 20 to 40 stones. Each grind car contains its own engine, traction, water tank, hydraulics, and other features giving redundancy in operation while also meeting the latest emission requirements around the world.
