As of April 27, 2010, Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is excited to annouce that Loram and the China Ministry of Railways have reached an agreement for Loram to build five new shoulder ballast cleaners for the Railway. The shoulder ballast cleaners will be manufactured as part of a joint venture agreement with Beijing Railway Transportation Equipment Co. The five shoulder ballast cleaners will be delivered to Beijing over a period of two+ years. Loram is excited to continue and grow its presence in the global market and looks forward to working with China Ministry of Railways throughout the next few of years.
